In April 1956, Howard Williamson opened the Marine and Sports Store on 2725 Lebanon Road in Donelson, TN.
Marine and Sports Store sold everything from fishing tackle to bowling balls. In addition, Howard also sold Evinrude motors.
Howard became affiliated with American Honda Company in 1964. In 1980, Howard's Marine and Sports Store became an exclusive Honda dealership.
Howard's Honda opened on 315 Donelson Pike in 1980.
